The homepage spells out three steps, and they really are that quick.

- Allow camera and microphone. Your browser asks once.

From there it is pure roulette energy. Talk by voice, or type in the chat box if you prefer. Not feeling it? Press Next and the following face is a second away. Clicked with someone? Save the contact and keep the conversation going by message later, which Omegle never let you do. Match by Interest pairs you with people who share what you are into, and the Country dropdown at the top of the screen narrows your matches by location.
Is CallMeChat legit and safe?
Yes. CallMeChat is run by a named company, Cortox LTD in Cyprus, with published terms, chat rules, a billing policy and a refund policy. Every member must pass a Yoti age check before using video chat, moderation combines AI scanning with dedicated human moderators, and anyone can report or block a user. Payments go through card and selected mobile payment providers, as one-time purchases with no subscription to cancel.

The age check: Yoti in a few seconds
This is the part that makes CallMeChat feel grown up. Before your first video call, Yoti, a specialist age verification provider, estimates your age from your face. The analysis runs on your own device, the facial image is deleted right after, and CallMeChat keeps only the pass or fail result and a verification ID, for 12 months at most.
For you, it means two things. The check is over in moments, and everybody you meet afterward went through the same door. That is the single biggest upgrade on the old Omegle, where a click on “I am 18” was the whole process.
Who you meet
CallMeChat has two account types, Woman and Man, and its terms say women’s accounts may be asked for passport details. The homepage shows a carousel of members marked online from the USA, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Germany, the UK and Latin America, under a “Verified Users Only” label, and its live counter read 33,444 people online when we visited.
Translation is where the magic happens. Type a line in English and she reads it in her own language; she answers in hers and you read it in yours. Suddenly a woman in Madrid, Lisbon or São Paulo is as easy to flirt with as someone down the street. The site menu lists 16 languages, from Spanish and Italian to Japanese, Korean and Hebrew.

CallMeChat runs on coins. Random matches follow simple house rules: dressed, face in frame. The chat rules then add the line that matters most to adults: those rules do not apply to private video calls with users who have accepted your incoming call, or whose call you accepted.
